Griddie taught me how to live for the small things in life, for the little wins. She always had a smile on her face, and loved to laugh with her family. I remember sitting outside at her picnic table, learning how to put potato chips on my sandwich to give it that extra little crunch; to this day I think of her every time I eat my sandwich with potato chips. Griddie passed away after fighting lung cancer for many years, but I'll never forget her and her smile.
